FPGA Realization of a Chaotic FH Sequence Generator

In this paper,we design a chaos-based frequency hopping (FH) sequence generator with multidimensional chaotic systems because the sequences generated by unimodal maps are easy to attack.Some modifications are introduced to n-dimensional nonlinear digital filters in order to improve the period and distribution properties of the resulted sequences.Moreover,the generator is realized in FPGAs (field programmable gate arrays) and then tested.The generator produces sequences with uniform distribution,large complexity and Hamming correlation of Gaussian distribution with mean L/q.Test results suggest that the design of generator is successful.
