Topographic feature type vocabularies for ontology patterns

Controlled vocabularies for topographic features on the geospatial semantic web are incomplete. A vocabulary for raster-based data is missing. The U.S. Geological Survey is developing controlled vocabularies for topographic data and environmental modeling, including raster data.
