The Quantitative Analysis of Trail-wheel Calibration Function

Safety is an important index of railway signaling system. Therefore, with the development of urban railway interoperability, the safety comparison becomes critical in selecting deferent function implementation strategies for railway signaling system. Among these safety functions, correctness and safety of train-wheel calibration is the foundation of consecutive train supervision and control functions. And train-wheel calibration strategies selection directly influences the following safety functions. This study conducts quantitative analysis of train-wheel calibration function and its RAMS influence on following train operation by establishing mathematic model. By comparing different analysis results, it provides solid selection suggestions for different train wheel-diameter calibration strategies.
