Pulmonic Stenosis

TWO HUNDRED SIXTY-SEVEN patients with pulmonic stenosis and intact ventricular septum, all of whom were studied by cardiac catheterization, were available for study from the five institutions; 134 were male and 133 female. The ages ranged from newborn through 59 years with 18 patients more than 30 years old. The ages of onset of fatigue and dyspnea, cyanosis, angina, congestive heart failure, and bacterial endocarditis were noted. The presence or absence of cyanosis and congestive heart failure at the time of each physical examination was also recorded. Historical data pertaining to symptoms present prior to cardiologic referral were accepted whenever reasonable. Historical reports of cyanosis were
