DIE DRITTE DIMENSION: DER EINFLUSS DER ÄSTHETIK AUF DIE BEWERTUNG VON WEBSITES

Most research on the quality and the effect of websites from the users‘ point of view has focussed on content and usability, whereas aesthetic features have been less recognized. However, current scientific research shows that design and aesthetics play a vital role especially in early stages of the users‘ perception of websites. This article depicts important results from university basic research as well as from applied market research. Combining these two sources, conclusions are drawn for today‘s website development.
