Duty cycling and power off technique based wake-up receiver and wake-up method

A wake-up receiver and a wake-up method minimizing power consumption by applying a constant recursive period power off technique are provided to implement high receiving sensitivity and implement a single CMOS single chip without using a special material. A data receiver(430) receives wake-up data. A burst signal receiver(410) receives the burst signal at interval which is set up in the constant recursive period. A duty cycle signal generator generates the signal activating the burst signal receiver for the time interval. If it is activated, a switching unit(420) permits the power in data signal receiving unit, receives wake-up data and disables the duty cycle signal generating unit.
