APPLICATION OF A VISUAL SYSTEM FOR A MOBILE ROBOT NAVIGATION (OPENCV)

This article is describing the possibility of using visual systems for mobile robot navigation. A program that recognizes sings in the environment and navigates the robot is created. The article is divided into chapters where the steps of recognition and navigation are described. Especially there are few words about colour filtering, edge detection, Hough transform and using the acquired data for navigation. There are also OpenCV functions mentioned which are used in the program to make it work in real-time.
