Growth of a nonlinear optical crystal : cesium lithium borate

Abstract We report on the growth of a nonlinear optical crystal, CsLiB 6 O 10 (CLBO), by means of the top-seeded Kyropoulos method. CLBO crystals with dimensions of 29 × 20 × 22 mm 3 and 50 × 22 × 27 mm 3 were obtained from the stoichiometric melt and from the solution, respectively.
