Doing Case Study Research

T case study is a linchpin for practice and research (Cohen & Nagel, 1934; Bernard, 1949; Mill, 1949). The differences between the case study as practice and the case study as research lie more in the doer’s intent than in behavior. The aim of this paper is to use this fact to present general research principles that show dance/movement therapists how they can conduct case studies that help people and contribute to knowledge.
