In the period from March 4 to May 3, 2013 was held the compulsory internship at Pioneer Veterinary Clinic, located in the region of Carambei-PR, totaling 360 hours of workload. The supervisor was profissonal veterinarian Marcio Barciela Veras. Accompanying the areas of clinical, surgical, and reproductive health control with several professionals, as the clinic is composed of eleven veterinarians. 184 cases were treated, 72 of 112 medical and surgical clinic of dairy cattle. This work emphasizes the displaced abomasum and mastitis in cattle. The series of visits predominated the Holstein, Brown Swiss and Jersey. The region has a specific vocation for dairy production, with an average yield of 37 liters / cow / day in selected farms.
