The invention provides a method and a system for inputting information to electronic equipment on the basis of coordinates and acceleration of a touch screen. The method includes S1, monitoring an interface state of the touch screen, and acquiring coordinates of a clicked position and an acceleration feature vector value caused by vibration of the electronic equipment when the touch screen is clicked and the electronic equipment of the touch screen vibrates due to clicking; S2, judging whether a control is located at the coordinates of the clicked position of the touch screen or not, and determining that the control is clicked if the control is located at the coordinates of the clicked position of the touch screen; and S3, judging whether the acceleration feature vector value acquired at the step of S1 reaches a preset threshold value or not, actuating a standard click function for the control which is positioned during the step of S2 if the acceleration feature vector value does not reach the preset threshold value, and actuating an extended clicking function for the control if the acceleration feature vector value reaches the preset threshold value. The method and the system have the advantages that the frequency of clicking function buttons when a user input the information can be reduced, and accordingly operation is simplified for the user.
