Multimodale Bildauswertung zur rechnergestützten Bestrahlungsplanung von Augentumoren

Bei dem zugrundeliegenden Projekt wird eine Verbesserung der aktuellen Bestrahlungstherapie von intraokularen Tumoren durch den Einsatz von Protonenstrahlen angestrebt. Ausgehend von CT-Schnittbildern, MRT-Schnittbildern, Fundusphotographien und Ultraschallaufnahmen wird ein Bestrahlungmodell fur die Durchfuhrung der Bestrahlungstherapie ermittelt. Durch wissensbasierte Bildauswertung und Kombination aller zur Verfugung stehenden Informationen erreicht dieses Modell eine Prazision, die eine Ausnutzung der Dosierungsgenauigkeit von Protonenstrahlen erst moglich macht.
