The results of the application of a new image restoration algorithm, developed by Ayers G. R. and Dainty J. C. (1988, Opt. Letters, 13), to the multiwavelength EUV/Skylab observations of the solar atmosphere are presented. The application of the algorithm allows to reach a resolution better than 5″. The structure of the quiet Sun is studied on that spatial scale. The results show evidence for discrete looplike structures in the network boundary, 5″-10″ in size, at temperatures of 10 5 K.
