EM-Plant-Based Simulation of Logistic System in Flexible Tobacco Primary Processing Line

The flexible and changeful automatic conveying routes in a flexible tobacco primary processing line complicate the work on general planning,in order to optimize the logistic system,the simulation of logistic system was introduced by taking shuttle vehicle and AGV as examples.The simulation software Em-Plant was applied to establish the model of the flexible tobacco primary processing line,which was composed of 3 processing sections(strips loosening and conditioning section,strips casing section and tobacco cutting,drying,blending and flavoring section) and 2 functional areas(tobacco box cleaning area and storage area).The simulation results showed that shuttle vehicle and AGV could meet the requirements of the linking between processing and storage areas and the continuous processing of each section.Reasonable scheduling of shuttle vehicle could minimize the waiting time at each outbound platform,reasonable route planning could improve the conveying efficiency of AGV,and optimize the logistic system accordingly.
