Determination of characteristics wind speed and experiment of aerodynamic characteristics on small horizontal axis wind turbine

First,under the wind speed to obey the two-parameter Weibull distribution,four regions wind resource were analysised by WASP software in Inner Mongolia,characteristics wind speed formula was educed,cut-in speed and rated wind speed were calculated in four regions of Inner Mongolia.Then,from low cost considerations,the characteristic wind speeds of wind turbine were optimized,the diameters of wind wheel were shortened and the difficulty of manufacturing technology was reduced.Finally,the thesis contrasted and validated by experimental analysis and simulation.The results showed that:power output of the new wind turbine is improved by the characteristic wind speed of optimized design,and in four different actual wind farm wind turbine generating capacity per unit area increased by 28% than the conventional wind turbine.
