The equilibria of gold(III) complexes in acid sulfate solutions with different ionic strengths were studied by spectrophotometry: Au(OH) 2 (H 2 O) + 2 + SO 2 - 4 = Au(OH) 2 (H 2 O)S O - 4 + H 2 O, β 0 1 = 45 ′ 4 (I = 2.0); Au(OH) 2 (H 2 O)SO - 4 + H + = Au(OH)(H 2 O) 2 SO 0 4 , K H 2 = 1.0 ′ 0.2 (I = 2.0); Au(OH)(H 2 O) 2 SO 0 4 + HSO - 4 = Au(OH)(H 2 O)(SO 4 ) 2 - 2 + H + , K 2 = 3.5 ′ 1.0 (I = 7.7). The complex species spectra were calculated.
