A novel MOSFET-C filter realization method using a canonical number of capacitors

A novel canonical integrator linearizing relationship between voltages and currents of MOSFETs is proposed, and this integrator is applied to continuous-time filter realization. Although this integrator requires two operational amplifiers, a technique to reduce the number of operational amplifiers is also presented. As examples, a biquad filter and a third-order leapfrog filter are simulated by SPICE2. Transient analyses of these filters show quite low harmonic distortions.<<ETX>>
