Low voltage separation model and its control system for electrophoresis chip

Based on the idea of the low voltage separation of the electrophoresis chip, a new separation model is presented by applying low voltage alternatively and cyclically along the separation channel, so that the high electric field can be provided. Meanwhile, according to this model, relevant design and study on the control system of electrophoresis chip were carried out and a scheme of the control circuit is presented, which is based on 89C51 MCU. The initial experiment shows that the new separation technique is promising , which gives a possible solution scheme for the micromation, integration and portable design of capillary electrophoresis instrument.
