Infra-red parking position detection system

Disclosed is an infra-red parking position detection system, relating to the technical field of lighting in a garage. The infra-red parking position detection system comprises an infra-red emitter (1) and an infra-red receiver (2). The infra-red emitter (1) and the infra-red receiver (2) are provided in opposition respectively above and below a parking position in the garage. When a car parks, the infra-red ray emitted by the corresponding infra-red emitter (1) is blocked by the vehicle, and the corresponding infra-red receiver (2) cannot receive the respective infra-red ray emitted, therefore a controller (3) controls a transmitter (4) to transmit a signal to a server (5) indicating that the parking position is occupied. When a car leaves its parking position, the infra-red ray emitted by the corresponding infra-red emitter (1) is received by the corresponding infra-red receiver (2), and thus the controller (3) controls the transmitter (4) so that the transmitter transmits a signal to the server (5) indicating that the parking position is available. Accordingly, a manager may know the availability of parking positions in the entire garage through the terminal server (5) at any time, and guide vehicles to park with accurate information in a fast and convenient way.
