A Benchmark Example for Anti-windup Synthesis in Active Vibration Isolation Tasks and an L2 Anti-windup Solution

A benchmark example for anti-windup synthesis is introduced. It is based on an industrial vibration isolation device and exhibits many of the same anti-windup design challenges that were described in [24]. We propose performance indexes for the benchmark problem that seem to be good mathematical indicators of fast vibration isolation recovery. For the benchmark problem we provide a particular solution that is based on the extended L 2 anti-windup scheme (patent pending [23]) introduced in [24].
