모바일 플랫폼에 특성화된 미디어 프레임워크 설계 연구

A media framework supplies interfaces that are related to media operations for both a media application and media components. In the past, the main environment for media frameworks is PC platforms that have sufficient resources. Nowadays mobile platforms including embedded systems become more popular than PC platforms, so, some new media frameworks for the mobile platforms has emerged. Due to the difference between platforms, the architectures of each media framework are different. In this paper, we have studied both characteristics of each media framework and decided that a newly devised framework architecture is needed for mobile platforms in order to increase both flexibility and performance of media applications.
