Etude cinétique des réactions de solvolyse I. Introduction à une série d'articles Solvolyses du chlorure de butyle tertiaire

The problem of the correlation of the SN1 solvolysis rates of organic halides is first introduced. The kinetic study of the SN1 solvolysis of t.butyl chloride in six different media has been performed, using a conductometric method. The corresponding Arrhenius parameters are given. A new conductivity cell is described.
