A novel microstrip bandpass filter having plural transmission zeros using a capacitive-inductive-capacitive configuration

This paper proposes a band pass filter having plural transmission zeros by using a grounded capacitive-inductive-capacitive configuration, and studies the basic behavior of the filter both theoretically and experimentally. This filter with dimensions 12 /spl times/ 12 /spl times/ 1.588 mm/sup 3/ (0.027 /spl lambda//sub 0/ /spl times/ 0.027 /spl lambda//sub 0/ /spl times/ 0.04 /spl lambda//sub 0/) shows 4.61% passband width around 0.686 GHz in theory, and the prediction is confirmed experimentally with reasonable errors. This filter configuration is suitable for an LTCC multi-layered technology.
