Notice of RetractionNumerical investigations on dynamic stall associated with low Reynolds number flows over airfoils

This paper presents two-dimensional numerical investigations on the phenomenon of deep dynamic stall at a low Reynolds number flow over an oscillating airfoil. Numerical simulations were performed using the RANS model by solving the Navier-Stokes equations with two low Reynolds number turbulence models. The SST k-ω model with low Reynolds number correction and the v2-f model have been employed and compared in the prediction of the unique flow phenomena prior to, during and after the stall. The dynamic boundary layer transition over the airfoil has been discussed.
