Compact multiplexers for space-division multiplexing

Compact space multiplexers with small footprint based on photonic integration, femtosecond laser inscription, fiber bundle and fused fiber techniques can be manufactured in mass production and packaged to assure high reliability, which are essential for the practical application of space-division multiplexing.
