An approach to architectural analysis and testing

1. ABSTRACT There is a critical need for approaches and tools to support software analysis and testing at the architectural level. This position paper shows how the architectural style description language ASDL provides a basis for architectural analysis and testing. This perspective has been used to build a prototype architecture description toolset that will serve as the foundation for testing and analysis tools that are currently under development.
