Estatística em psiquiatria

This paper presents the paradigms of data analysis-based research work. It shows how the advances in computer sciences have influenced this process, allowing complex systems to be modeled and analyzed. Some fields in psychiatry where statistical analyses are important are assessed, and suggestions are given on how to improve the collaboration between psychiatrists and statisticians.
