Automatic identification system (AIS) shipborne equipment with Beidou function and Beidou function starting and stopping method

The invention provides automatic identification system (AIS) shipborne equipment with a Beidou function. The AIS shipborne equipment comprises a satellite passive positioning device, a Beidou satellite user module, a Beidou satellite user module antenna, an AIS function module and an AIS function module antenna, wherein the Beidou satellite user module and the AIS function module are respectively connected with an information processing module, and the information processing module comprises a Beidou function starting and stopping module. The invention also provides a Beidou function starting and stopping method used for the AIS shipborne equipment with the Beidou function. Through monitoring operation instructions, work states and the like of the satellite passive positioning device and the AIS function module, short message sending communication or active positioning functions of the Beidou satellite user module are operated or closed. When a ship navigates in a way of exceeding the receiving range of an AIS base station or the satellite passive positioning device and the AIS function module have faults, the shipborne equipment reaches the goal of being monitored through operating the active positioning and the communication function capable of receiving and sending short messages containing AIS information of the Beidou satellite, and the unnecessary occupation of Beidou channel resources is also reduced. The shipborne equipment also has a function of transmitting the AIS information of peripheral ships according to instruction of a monitoring center.
