A Review of Network Layer Attacks and Countermeasures in WSN

Wireless Sensor Network is a wireless network of thousands of inexpensive miniature devices capable of computation, communication and sensing. It provides a bridge between real physical and virtual worlds. In spite of its wide range of potential application to industry, science, transportation and security; it poses security threats at different layers. In this paper different types of attacks in network layer are examined and existing solutions were discussed. Some open research issues are also presented.
