A simple algorithm for the system reliability in the 1-out-of-n system with exponential repair times

In case a high reliability of a system is required, use can be made of redundant units to increase the system reliability. To examine how many redundant units are needed, the effect of additional units on the system reliability has to be established. In the contribution to the DGOR conference 1988, a method is presented to carry out this analysis.
