Recursion Subspace-based Method for Bearing Estimation: A Comparative Study

In many practical applications of sensor ar- ray processing, accurate bearing estimation with low com- plexity is of signiflcant interest. In this paper, we present a Recursion subspace-based method (RSM) to estimate the bearings of incident signals impinging on a Uniform lin- ear array (ULA), and perform the comparison between the RSM method and the signal Subspace method with- out eigendecomposition (SUMWE). Numerical results are presented to compare the performance the RSM method with that of the SUMWE method.
