Overview on makeup air for smoke exhaust in atrium

The current research situation of makeup air for smoke exhaust in atrium both in China and other countries was overviewed,including the theoretical calculation of smoke amount during the mechanical smoke exhaust in atrium,the influence of velocity and vent location to smoke settlement,the influence of vent area to the smoke height,and the influence of makeup air to the smoke exhaust efficiency.The results of theoretical studies and the related regulations about makeup air for atrium were also described.Then the shortcomings in previous studies were pointed out,and some recommendations for the main research content of makeup air were proposed.
