ANALYSIS OF SECURITY STRATEGIES FOR A TWO-TARGET GAME

In this paper an analysis of the capture and survival strategies, based on the notion of security, to be adopted by players in a two-target game, is presented. It is shown that the choice of strategy not only depends o n the secured outcome region to which the initial state belongs, but also on the preference o rdering of outcomes by the players. A two-target version of the homicidal chauffeur game is solved as an example to illustrate the concepts p resented here and the specific capture and survival strategies are obtained in the form of qualitative and quantitative solution of a pair of single-target games.
