Analysis of food grater mechanism by using engineering analysis tools

In the proposed study, this project will only focus on all possible users not limited to certain population only. The sample of this study was taken among respondents from various age and professions. They were mostly housewives and students who is very familiar in-house chores in their daily lives. A research is made on how they usually sliced or shred their vegetables when cooking and how they think about the method that they have been used. A further investigation was done on the problems they faced while slicing the foods as how they normally did. Through some interview and questionnaire sessions, it was found that most of the respondents use manual way in cutting and slicing their vegetables and this led to several problems. The problems where it requires too much energy, consume too much time and not productive enough for large amount of vegetables.
