Research into An Improved Modulation Mode Identification Algorithm of MQAM Signal

The modulation mode identification technique of digital signal is one of the crucial technologies of blind signal processing.This paper studies the inter-class identification method of multiple quadrature amplitude modulation(MQAM) signal based on subtraction clustering,aiming at the disadvantages that the statistical data quantity needed by this class identification algorithm is large and this algorithm isn't suitable for the short burst signal,puts forward an improved algorithm,and performs the simulation experiment to its identification performance.The simulation result shows that using the improved algorithm to process the short burst signal can gain higher identification probability and possess definite practical value.
