The present invention relates to an underwater vehicle system and an underwater location recognition method and more specifically, to a system for determining the location of an underwater vehicle and a method for determining the location of the underwater vehicle using the same. According to one aspect of the present invention, the underwater vehicle system includes: an underwater station which is launched from a command ship; and an underwater vehicle which is launched from the underwater station. The underwater station includes: a launcher which is connected to the command ship through a cable and provides a space for accommodating the underwater vehicle; and a first sound module which is installed in the launcher and performs a sound location recognition technique. The underwater vehicle includes: a body; and a second sound module which is installed in the body and performs the sound location recognition technique while being linked with the first sound module.
