The measurement model of the PRCA's reconfigurability

The paper introduces the emergence, development, application of the reconfigurable computing and addresses the procedure of its design and process. A measurement model of the reconfigurable computing system is proposed based on the analysis of the characteristics of its architecture. For every factor of the quality model, the paper gives its definition and the corresponding measurement method. An example is given to explain how to use the measurement model to measure one system's reconfigurability. The measurement model can provide a comprehensive measurement for the reconfigurable system and expect providing important reference for the researchers.
