A method for computer-aided determining the dependencies of a plurality of modules (M) of a technical system, in particular of a software system is described. Each of the modules of the system has a known, initial resource consumption. The first resource consumption at least one of the modules is varied according to a predetermined criterion, whereby a modified system is obtained. The modified system is running. a second resource consumption is measured for each of the modules of the modified system, the results from the modification of the first resource consumption at least one module (M). From the analysis of the second resource consumption of a respective module (M), the predetermined criterion is determined whether a relationship between the respective module (M) and the at least one altered resource consumption in the module (M) consists.
