A study of an analog computing system for an analytical plotter

Abstract The results of a partial simulation of an analytical plutter first described at the International Photogrammetric Conference on Aerial Triangulation held in Ottawa, Canada in August 1957 are presented. The simulation was carried out using a commercially available general purpose analog computer and specially prepared input and output equipment. Some of the factors in the study which would affect the extension of the results given to those obtainable with a completed instrument are discussed.
