Unconstraint measurement of vital information using near-infrared light sensor

We developed unconstraint measurement of vital information using near-infrared light sensor for casual sensing of pulse wave information. This sensor is composed of infrared LED and photodiode for measuring the cyclic change of hemoglobin concentration inside blood vessel. This sensor could measure the pulse wave without constraint of human body. Measured data represented near value to the measured data acquired by commercial photoplethysmographic sensor. We demonstrated the comparisons of measured data by developed sensor with that by commercial sensor, and calculated and compared vascular age and activity balance of autonomous nerve.
