Protecting substrates against damage by fire

A protection method of a metal, wood or plastic substrate is exposed to the risk of fire due to the hydrocarbon, the method comprising the step of coating the substrate with a Forbidden sex (intumescent) composition, the Forbidden composition is more than 300 siloxane units, the degree of polymerization, which contains polydimethylsiloxane (a), hydrolysis to the reactive groups and the reactions in the presence of moisture (a) group which has a (degree of polymerisation) containing a reactive hydroxyl or hydrolyzable group bonded to silicon and a titanate catalyst for the reaction between the crosslinking agent (B), expandable graphite, and a poly dimethyl siloxane reactivity of the (a) hydroxyl or hydrolyzable groups and the crosslinking agent (B).
