ON ϕ-CONVEXITY

In this paper, approximate convexity and approximate midconvexity prop- erties, called '-convexity and '-midconvexity, of real valued function are investigated. Various characterizations of '-convex and '-midconvex functions are obtained. Further- more, the relationship between '-midconvexity and '-convexity is established.
