The computation of eddy-currents, in dimension 3, by using mixed finite elements and boundary elements in association

Two dual formulations for the eddy-currents problem in three dimensions are described. Both feature a boundary operator, which takes into account the behaviour of the field away from the region of interest, and provides boundary conditions for a finite element treatment (with special elements, ''mixed'') in the region of interest. Numerical procedures for the approximation of these operators are given.
