Study of Decentralized Coordinated Control for Soft Open Point of Active Distribution Networks

The back-to-back voltage source converter (B2B VSC) is taken as the research object, the active distribution network SOP decentralized coordinated control strategy is proposed in this paper. The SOP distributed controller is designed as a dual-loop local controller, which is composed by UDCQ control, PQ control and V/f control as an outer loop controller and a sliding mode inner loop controller based on exponential approach rate; for improving the robustness of the designed controller under different operating conditions, for multi-contact power distribution based on SOP interconnection, The H ∞ robust coordination controller of multi-end SOP is designed based on the linear matrix inequality technique. The simulation results show that the proposed SOP dispersion coordination controller has good dynamic response characteristics under several different operating conditions, and can fully utilize the active and reactive power and voltage frequency adjustment capabilities of each end SOP in various external disturbance scenarios. It also can effectively improve the safe and stable operation level of the distribution network.
