Joining concept and feasibility studies with steel pipes

An international project team consisting of experts from the steel industry, pipe manufacturers and adhesives producers is currently working on a process that will enable sections of steel pipeline to be joined by means of adhesives. The object is to develop a process that will be viable competition for conventional joint welding technology; the process is to involve the use of adhesives and be capable of implementation under normal construction site conditions.
