Design of controller in computerized flat knitter base on ARM and FPGA

The functional requirements of the flat knitting machine and execution of its control system were analyzed,and a new control system of fully automatic flat knitting machine developed based on embedded technology was introduced.A 32-bit ARM microprocessor and FPGA were suggested as the main control unit and hypotaxis control respectively.Control system based on such design scheme is outstanding with high cost-performance,intergration and high utility.
