A Control Strategy for Metro Energy Storage System

A control strategy based on traction substation characteristic is proposed in order to surmount metro vehicle behaviour identification difficulties.To implement the control strategy and improve the performance of energy storage system,a constant-frequency sliding mode controller of double loop current mode with PI compensation is designed to replace an ordinary PI controller.Furtheremore,a method to improve the speed of start-up characteristics is proposed for resistive and capacitive loading.Finally,the simulation results verify the effectiveness of this control strategy where performance exceeded an ordingnary PI control.
