A framework of awareness for Collaborative e-Commerce

Traditional e-Commerce is in transition to Collaborative one gradually. In the structure of Collaborative e-Commerce, awareness is the key for users to learn all sorts of information about people and system in this environment, which is also an important factor being considered in the process to materialize such a Collaborative e-Commerce environment. This paper presents the analysis of traits of awareness information in Collaborative e-Commerce environment, its forming process and potential problems. A developing platform, which can support the operation of Collaborative e-Commerce using Java JMS technology, also is provided in this paper.
