Control andMinimization ofTorque Ripple inSwitched Reluctance Generator

Thispaper deals withtheoperation ofa Switched Reluctance Generator (SRG) forwindturbine applications. Themachine fluxcharacteristics are deduced from thefinite element methodand approximated bya Krigeage interpolation method. Thenonlinear modelisusedtoanalyze the characteristics oftheSRGinself-excitation mode.To inimize torque ripple a novelasymmetrical Torque Sharing Function (TSF) ispresented andcompared toatrapezoidal one.
