Modeling of double-rotor permanent magnet reluctance motor

The paper proposes a double-rotor permanent magnet reluctance motor (PMRM), which has higher power density and efficiency than other double-rotor motors. However, the complex electromagnetic coupling existing in PMRM makes it difficult to build a precise model which is necessary for accuracy control. In this paper, a numerical mathematic model is present which considers the electromagnetic coupling of PMRM. According to the comparison of simulation results of numerical model and finite element analysis, it can be obtained that the considering electromagnetic coupling model can describe PMRM effectively.
